Mine is going to be so lame since I know writing a story would be a total failure since I will most likely end up using an adjective in the first sentence alone.  Anyways here is my rather long, boring paragraph…..
Adjectives. Adjectives are very crucial in every day language. Without adjectives we can’t express the quality of an object or a person. We can’t say how a thing or person looks like without using an adjective. As a reader or (those who don’t even read) they are very important.   When we’re reading a book, we usually expect the setting and characters to have some description. It helps us picture the content of what we are reading about. It helps us see what  a character may look like. If I get no description of a character other than his name, he/she will remain a no-face character. If not the characters, also the setting of the story. You’re going to think they are just standing in a building or some road but what do these exactly look like? It basically forces us to imagine our own novel and not what the author is trying to show us. As a reader I don’t want to try to paint my own picture by thinking of adjectives as I am reading. I want the descriptive word, then I want to paint the picture.  Adjectives appeals to a reader’s senses. With the utilization of descriptive words we can see, feel, touch, taste, hear, and even smell what the author is trying to convey, albeit, only through the pages. Other than in books it’s also very important in daily life such as our every day conversations. When someone asks you “How was your day?” would you just smile and nod? I don’t know about you, but with this particular question it usually requires a descriptive word, right? Or I could be wrong….but who knows. So to sum it all up we need adjectives in our lives! There’s probably more nouns in the English language or any language for that matter, but without adjectives there is no way I’d be able to describe anything on how and what a thing/person looks like. Yes that would be ____.  (You can fill in the blank since I can’t use an adjective for this challenge) HAHA
Ehh this paragraph sucks but I tried my best.  I hope I didn’t fail.

  1. HAHA love it! Your paragraph should be used to teach students on why adjectives are important and your paragraph would be the “without adjectives” paragraph
